Project: Adding #Amal to your Resume

Hopefully we all understand how important it is to focus on Amal and to start each bullet point in the experience section with an action verb. Now it’s time to apply this concept!

In order to do that, we are going to review your current resume and add powerful action verbs where appropriate.

So, here are the steps:

1. Open your current resume
2. Your goal is to add a strong action verb into the beginning of each bullet point on your resume
3. Carefully review your resume and evaluate which strong action verbs you can use to start each bullet point in her resume
4. To find good action verbs, you can use the action verbs you (or other peers) shared in the last activity
5. You can also use action verbs you find online, such as from Berkeley’s Resume Guide (here)
   1. Just make sure that you choose action verbs that you are comfortable using, that you know exactly what they mean, and that are appropriate for the point you are trying to express
6. Add your action verbs to your resume
