DIY: Vocation
As young students just starting their career, you might not be clear about your vocation. Vocation is something that becomes more clear to you when you gain a lot of experience and when you are 10-20 years into your career (generally speaking). It is something that you find passion for and it can be different from your career too. It is often regarded as someone’s calling, what they think their grand purpose in life is.
You might already have an inclination towards a particular career that you might feel is made for you or is calling you. That is what vocation is. You might not feel like you know what your vocation is and that is perfectly fine. As we said earlier that it becomes clearer with time and experience.
Some examples of vocation are: charity worker, painter, priest, mentor, motivational speaker.
Lets do a quick DIY activity, research about vocation and find out 1-2 new things about vocation that you didn't know before or that were not shared in the online course.
Note it down in the comments below so your fellows get a better understanding of it and maybe start thinking about your calling.
